That's cool!

The Espresso Book machine is designed for use in stores, where the customer chooses from many titles the store doesn't normally stock (such as Print on Demand selections, hint, hint), slips in payment, and the book is produced in 4 minutes.

The upcoming link shows some pretty awesome inside looks at the machine. Think of it as the Piper Patter version of How It's Made...

Now, isn't that much cooler than printing up a whole bunch of copies of books and sending them out to stores which don't sell them, then return them for credit and they end up in a landfill?
