Things That Work

So. No alliteration, no other words that start with "f". New feature--when I don't have a Friday funny ready, I'll recommend something for the Piper Patter Seal of Affection (which is sorta like the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval, except I've never aimed to be a "good" housekeeper, just a passably-socially-acceptably-mediocre housekeeper who has other priorities).

And this week's nominee:

The Perfect Brownie pan (mine is from Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and it's only 9X9, for the same price as this bigger one directly from the company).

Whoa. I love brownies, but mostly hate trying to cut them outta the pan (never had quite as much trouble as the person in this infomercial, LOL). But hubby bought me this pan for Christmas and it's so Awesome!(with a capital A because it's that good). Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to get your yummy brownies out and eat them.

Highly recommend.

And PS, I went super-simple for my first batch, and just used the really cheap Duncan Hines brownie mix (YUM) the one my supermarket often puts on sale for a buck.
