Editing gaffe? Or total book fail?

I'm pretty self-conscious about errors in my own books, and also in the ones I edit.

Cannot imagine how a whole bunch of people are feeling right now about this children's book.

Looks like one you'd see featured on Jay Leno when they show funny stuff from the 99Cents Only store.
